| Q. | When do you offer these courses? |
| A. | Our classes start on the first Monday of every month, providing that space is available. |
| Q. | What are the hours that I would be spending in these classes? |
| A. | For our Hairstyling program, classes take place Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. For Nail Technology, classes take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. |
| Q. | Will Advanced School of Hairstyling & Nail Technology find a job for me after I graduate? |
| A. | While you're attending school you can begin your apprenticeship in a salon. We have a number of salon owners who contact us to find part-time and full-time employees in the city and rural areas. |
| Q. | Can I receive financial assistance to take these courses? |
| A. | Student loans may be available for those who qualify. Contact Manitoba Student Aid for more information. |
| Q. | What types of jobs can I find with these professions? |
| A. | You can become a Hairstylist, Nail Technician, Colour or Perm Technician, Platform Artist, Salon Manager, Salon Owner, or Instructor. These are some exciting professions you can pursue. |
| Q. | Will I receive a diploma after I complete these courses? |
| A. | Yes. Once you complete all of your hours of in-school training, and pass your school theory and practical exam, you will receive our school diploma. |
